((Serisa is an original character! Serisa is between 4 and 5 years old. She's a bit of a crybaby and used to getting her way, carries her raggedy old Teddiursa Poke Doll everywhere, likes her mama best, and doesn't speak very much, although she can understand human language... she's MUCH more comfortable speaking Pokemon language! Oh, right, did I mention she's part Pokemon and a shapeshifter? A transformed Pokemon marrying a human and having kids is like something out of an old fairy tale, isn't it? But it's her reality! She's not very good at controlling her transformations yet, so hiding it causes her some grief...

Hopefully, Ultern's a more welcoming place for her! ♥

The journal is new, but this little tanuki girl predates the leak... people marrying Pokemon in the ancient past has been a thing since DPPt, they just sanitized it to "eating at the same table" for the English release. Animal bride / husband stories are very standard tropes / themes for folklore around the world, people. No different from stories of selkies or Greek myth...))
